Mt Murchison State School is a one teacher school located in a picturesque setting with a commanding view of the local farming area.  Bright classrooms, well maintained grounds, dedicated staff and high quality programs instil a love of learning in our students.

The shared efforts of the staff are directed towards making Mount Murchison a happy and stimulating place where children can share and enjoy learning. Through the developing of this positive attitude towards education the staff aim to follow the guidelines and agenda of Education Queensland.

Classroom learning is enhanced by a dynamic, integrated computer education program. A ratio of one computer for every two students extends the learning opportunities for all.
